PURPOSE: To eliminate interference in meshing of both splines by setting the tooth profiles of both splines in consideration of the inclination of a tooth of a flex spline in a relation to a circular spline. CONSTITUTION: In the tooth profiles of the meshing teeth 30, 32 of a flex spline (a flexible external gear) 26 and a circular spline (a rigid internal gear) 26, the inclination of a tooth flank in relation to the reference tooth profile is adjusted on the basis of the mapping curved line including the adjustment to the inclination 46 of the meshing teeth 30 of the flex spline 26. That is, the tooth profile curved line part corresponding to the tooth flank of the tooth top is slightly inclined inward by taking a point on a pitch circle as the center so that the tips of a pair of tooth flanks of respective teeth 30, 32 may be approached to each other at a part on the tooth top side from the pitch circle by the reference tooth profile. Therefore, interference in meshing of both splines 26, 28 can be reliably eliminated even in mesh contact in the wide range. High torsional rigidity can be obtained by allowing mesh-contact in the wide range. |
