PURPOSE:To prevent the action of a vibration proof driving mechanism from being affected by preflashing for reducing a red-eye effect in flash photographing. CONSTITUTION:In this camera for correcting camera provided with a camera- shake detecting means 48 detecting the quantity of camera-shake caused by a hand-shake, etc., and a vibration proof driving means driving a camera shake correcting optical system in a different direction from an optical axis based on the output of the detection of the camera shake detecting means 48, a flash photographing means 41 normally flashing an electronic flashing device 56 to execute the flash photographing, preflashing means 41 and 56 preflashing prior to the flash photographing, to reduce a red-eye effect phenomenon and a control means starting the detection of the camera-shake by the camera shake detecting means 48 in response to the output of a photographing ready signal, when flash photographing conditions are valid and simultaneously actuating the preflashing means 41 and 56 when the photographing ready signal is outputted and then, a photographing start signal is outputted as well, the vibration proof driving means after a specified time lapses and continuously, the flashing photographing means 41. |
