PURPOSE:To allocate a communication slot by taking the reduction of a transmission delay into account in the mobile communication system interconnecting radio relay stations of the time division multiplex transmission system via an inter-station data exchange through a time division multiplex digital line. CONSTITUTION:An inter-station data exchange 1 is provided with a means retrieving and deciding a slot of a digital circuit allocated for communication prior to the communication under the combination condition minimizing a transfer time, a means detecting a reception frame timing of a digital line for each radio relay station as information required for the decision, and a means fine- adjusting a data transfer time of a radio relay station to an outgoing radio slot as to the transmission frame timing of an outgoing digital line. Furthermore, each of radio relay stations 21, 22..., 2n is provided with a means automatically discriminating combination of radio slots minimizing data transfer time corresponding to a digital line slot and a means detecting the frame timing of the digital line and assisting fine-adjustment of the transmission frame timing of the outgoing digital line.
