SURFACE HEATING ELEMENT FOR HEATING CYLINDRICAL BODY

PURPOSE:To provide a surface heating element which is close contact with the inner circumferential face of a cylindrical body such as a photoreceptor and uniformly heating and insulating the cylindrical body. CONSTITUTION:A base plate 1 has a shape (W:70mm) of combining two parallelograms and is made by punching a PET sheet (90mm length X210mm width X0.188mm thickness), and a heating element 2 obtained by etching a stainless foil of 30mum thickness in an optional pattern and an insulating print film 3 made of an acrylic material and having 20mum thickness are formed on the base plate 1. Sings 4 and 4' show a plate like bodies made of a polycarbonate sheets (40mm length X10mm width X0.2mm thickness and the whole of their rear are adhered to the vicinity of the acute angle parts (A, A') of the surface of the insulating print film 3 with a pressure sensitive adhesive double coated tape (not shown in the figure).
