PURPOSE:To accurately arrange an electrode member on the surface of a developing roll through specified gap without increasing working manhour and production cost by providing an electrode wire being a magnetic substance and a magnet fixed inside the developing roll to be opposed to the electrode wire. CONSTITUTION:The magnet 15q is fixed inside the developing roll 15a. Since the electrode wire 15p is made of the magnetic substance (austenite stainless), it is uniformly attracted to the developing roll 15a side as shown by a dotted line by the magnet 15q inside the developing roll 15a. The attractive force at such a time is controlled to an optimum value according to the magnetic force of the magnet 15q and a distance to the electrode wire 15p. Thus, the developing roll 15a comes in contact with the electrode wire 15p with uniform contact pressure in an axial direction, so that specified performance is achieved without causing fogging at both ends of the developing roll 15a. |
