PURPOSE: To provide a switch assembly with detent mechanism capable of giving click feeling to users reducing the production cost. CONSTITUTION: A lever switch assembly in which a pair of almost U-shaped contact blade members 32 is brought into contact with first and second switch contact terminals 22, 24 to alternatively operate switching operation is provided. In the contact blade member 32, its one end is capable of swinging on a central contact terminal 20, the U-shaped part and the other end of the contact blade member come in contact with the side contact terminals 22, 24 on both sides of the central contact to separate it. By over-traveling of a lever 46 in the one direction, the contact blade member 32 is separated from the side contact 24, and brought into contact with an auxiliary contact. A spring-energized plunger 74 of the lever is engaged with a detent recess, and feeling of the sense of touch is given. |
