PURPOSE:To obtain a desired torque of a motor by detecting and referring to resistance of a motor coil, thereby calculating a current to the coil by means of CPU for control, and driving and controlling the motor using a calculated current. CONSTITUTION:A signal wire 110 for current detection and a converter reference voltage setting signal 109 are placed between a motor drive circuit 102 and a CPU 101 for motor control. The current passing through the winding of a motor is detected by means of Rs resistor 105, and its voltage is input to an analog-to-digital conversion port of the CPU 101. The CPU 101 judges the input value a value converted from analog to digital, and controls comparator reference voltage using the digital-to-analog port of the CPU 101. Thus it is possible to set a current to the motor according to the motor current detected by the CPU 101. This accomplishes optimization to make the output torque of the motor constant independently of temperature, and enables the reduction of power consumption. |
