PURPOSE:To provide a lighting fixture of a compact profile, capable of radiating emitting light, which is flat in the vertical direction and extends laterally, distantly forward of a vehicle by disposing the lighting fixture for emitting light from a light source, and constituting a lighting fixture main body of two kinds of specific optical members. CONSTITUTION:Light enters into a core of an optical fiber 30 from a light source at an incident angle of about 0-35 deg., so as to be guided forward while being reflected inside the core, and then, reaches an emitting surface 31 of the optical fiber 30. Light reaching the upper and lower ends of the emitting surface 31 out of the light having reached the emitting surface 31 is shut off by an upper shade 80a and a lower shade 80b so that only the residual light having reached the center in the X coordinate direction of the emitting surface 31 is emitted. A part of light emitted upward of a reflecting plate 80c is reflected on the reflecting plate 80c, to be input into an incident surface 85 of a semiconvex lens 80d, and then, is emitted from an emitting surface 86 as approximately horizontal light. The residual light is input directly into the semi-convex lens 80d, to be thus emitted from the emitting surface 86 of the semi-convex lens 80d as downward light. |
