PURPOSE:To provide a control device for a vehicle with an automatic transmission accurately detecting the congestion level on a travel road, reducing the rushing feeling at the time of a start on a congested road, and securing the accelerating capability on an uncongested road. CONSTITUTION:This control device for a vehicle with an automatic transmission is provided with a congestion level judging means 11 judging the congestion level on a travel road, an acceleration/ deceleration state detecting means 12 detecting the acceleration/ deceleration state of the vehicle, a congestion level correcting means 13 correcting the congestion level judged by the judging means 11 based on the acceleration/deceleration state detected by the detecting means 12, and a driving force control means 14 reducing the driving force of the automatic transmission in response to the congestion level corrected by the correcting means 13. |
