PURPOSE: To provide a motor which has a small volume and light weight and is very long in the axial direction and is used for rotating a centrifugal micropump. CONSTITUTION: A synchronous motor is constituted, mainly of a rotor 7 which is located in a stator unit having extended section in the axial direction. The stator unit has two magnetic pole bodies 3, 4 which have a multi-layer structure and are fastened to an intermediate body 5. The intermediate body 5 supports a circularly wound coil 17.
