PURPOSE:To normally carry a transfer material regardless of the thickness thereof or the drying state thereof when a toner image is transferred on the transfer material by a transfer roller. CONSTITUTION:An arm 10 is turnably fitted to the shaft O3 of a photoreceptive drum 3 and both ends of the shaft 6a of the transfer roller 6 are turnably supported by a bearing 11. The arm 10 is pressed toward a decentering cam 14 by a spring 13 whose one end is fixed to a device main body. When the cam 14 is turned around a shaft O14, the arm 10 is turned around the shaft O3 of the drum 3 and the roller 6 rolls on the drum 3. Then, the tangential direction of a nip part N is changed. |
