PURPOSE: To extract a specified amount or less of analytical sample from every cow separately during the milking operations by using a valve controlled by cycles composed of the valve opening time and the valve closing time. CONSTITUTION: A fixed amount of milk sucked by milking cups 2 placed on the mamma 1 of a cow is transported to a milk collecting piece 3, and then transported to all transport ducts 5 maintained in a vacuum through a long pipe 4. Further, a milk sample extracting device 7 is connected to the long pipe 4, and the extracted samples are collected in an analytical sample bottle 8. A processor 9 receives signals from the measuring device 6 through a conductor 10, calculates the valve opening time and the cycle time based on the flow rate of milk, etc., and thus controls the extracting device 7 through a conductor 11. In the extracting device 7, a valve by which the cycle composed of the valve opening time and the valve closing time is controlled is used. Thus, an amount of analytical sample below the maximum specified amount of 50ml is extracted from the total amount of milk from specified cows. |
