PURPOSE:To provide a color image forming device capable of always forming an optimum color image by minimizing irregularities in reproduction of a delicate hue by the influence of a sensor part, detecting a test pattern, to surely adjust a color balance, at the time of adjusting the color balance in such a manner that the test pattern is fed back. CONSTITUTION:A reference reflecting roller 22 is arranged opposite to a detecting part (for detecting the test pattern provided in the succeeding process (the downstream side in the carrying direction of a paper sheet) of a fixing device 20. A light emitting device 24 emits light prior to the detection of the test pattern, to detect the light reflected by the reference reflecting roller 22. When the test pattern is detected, the result of the detection of the test pattern is calibrated based on the result of the detection of the reference reflecting roller 22. Thus, the influence of the detecting part 50 is suppressed as little as possible to surely adjust the color balance and always form the optimum color image. |
