PURPOSE:To prevent the cleaning defect without sacrificing the copying productivity corresponding to every possible environment and copying mode. CONSTITUTION:In the multicolor image forming device constituted so as to repeat the charging process, the exposing process and the developing process several times on the photoreceptor 1 and to form plural toner image of different color for superimposing on the photoreceptor and then to transfer altogether to the transfer material, and provided with the cleaning means 20 for cleaning the remaining toner on the photoreceptor by the electrostatic action and the toner destaticizing means 8 on the upstream side of the cleaning means 20 for destaticizing the remaining toner on the photoreceptor, the device is provided with the means 12 for reading the humidity around the photoreceptor, the means for judging whether it is in a full color mode or a black-and-white mode, the means for determining the rotary speed of the cleaning means 20 and the impressing voltage of the toner destaticizing means 8 by the read humidity and the means for determining the rotary speed of the photoreceptor 1 basing on whether it is in the full color mode or the black-and-white mode in the cleaning process. |
