<p>PURPOSE:To attain high speed processing by transiting the processing to a succeeding operation immediately after, an operation is finished when a power supply voltage is enough to attain high speed operation of a voltage comparator and to ensure normal conversion processing by reserving the succeeding operation till the comparison is finished when the operating speed of the voltage comparator is reduced by the drop of the power supply voltage or the like. CONSTITUTION:The result of comparison between a potential of an analog input signal and a potential of a comparison reference signal is amplified by an inverter gate 11 and the amplified signal is given to inverter gates 14, 15 whose inverting potential is 174 and 3/4 of a power supply potential respectively. Outputs of the inverter gates 14, 15 are given to an exclusive OR gate 16. An output signal of the gate 16 is used for deciding a start timing of a succeeding operation as a comparison end signal.</p> |
