PURPOSE:To reduce the number of part items required for fixing electric parts such as a ballast to a luminaire main body by allowing a serration working portion formed on a shaft portion of a fixing screw to bite to the inner surface of a fixing hole, and bringing the fixing screw into conductive contact with the luminaire main body. CONSTITUTION:A fixing screw 8 is press-fitted to a fixing hole 7 formed on a luminaire main body 1 with the head 8a thereof brought into contact with the lower surface of the back of the main body 1 and a serration working portion 81 bitten to the fixing hole 7. Each crest of the serration working portion 81 peels off a coating material applied to the inner surface of the fixing hole 7, to be thus engaged with the inner surface of the fixing hole 7, thereby realizing conductive connection of the fixing screw 8 to the main body 1. Subsequently, a thread 8d of the fixing screw 8 projecting from the main body l is inserted into a through-hole 13a of a rubber bush 13 of a ballast case 10, which is thus attached to the upper surface of the main body 1. The thread 8d of the fixing screw 8 is inserted into a rectangular connecting slot 16a of an earth piece 16, and then, a circular washer 19 is fitted onto the slot 16a, thereby screwing a hexagonal nut 20. |
