PURPOSE:To section an address at beautiful section positions without specifying the section position by a user by providing a means which selects candidates for an (n)th and an (n+1)th line among positions where a KANA(Japanese syllabary)-Kanji(Chinese character) conversion indication key is depressed when the address is printed on plural lines. CONSTITUTION:The number of characters of an address buffer for input is counted and stored as the number 5E of address buffer characters. A variable (i) is set to 1. It is checked whether the number 5G of (i)th-line storable characters is smaller than the result of subtraction of an (i-1)th-line section position 5Hi-1 from the number 5E of address buffer characters. When so, the remaining characters can be stored in an (i)th-line address buffer, so a storing process is performed. Then the contents of 1st...l (n)th-line print buffers are printed by using a print part 6 and the processing ends. When not, on the other hand, a section is retrieved in the address buffer in the opposite position from the character position of an (i-1)th-line section position + the number of one-line characters and stored as an (i)th-line section position. |
