PURPOSE:To minimize the phosphoric acid movement in a cell body in the cell storing state during the stopping of a fuel cell power plant, and hold and manage the phosphoric acid in a prescribed position. CONSTITUTION:A phosphoric acid type fuel cell power plant has cutoff valves 20-23 on the inlet port side just before anode and cathode electrodes and on outlet port side just after them. An equalizing line 24 for connecting the anode electrode to the cathode electrode is provided in a piping line on the inside of the cutoff valves arranged on the inlet port and outlet port sides, and the equalizing line has an equalizing valve 25. |
