摘要 PURPOSE:To raise the heat removing property by passing a part of refrigerant, which has cooled a superconductor, through inside the case covering the connection of a superconductive strand, and changing the phase of the refrigerant led into this case with an expansion member. CONSTITUTION:A great part of supercritical helium 18, which has cooled superconductors 1a and 1b, passes the through holes 11 of conductor fixing sleeves 10a and 10b and cools connections 5a and 5b from the periphery of the case 5 of the connections 5a and 5b, and then is discharged from a port 14. Moreover, a great part of the supercritical helium 18, which has cooled the superconductors 1a and 1b, is led to an expansion chamber 18, which has an orifice 16 within, through a pipe 15, and it adiabatically expands from high pressure to low pressure with an orifice 16, whereby it is liquefied with its phase changed. Partially liquefied gas-liquid helium is divided into gas and liquid within the case 6, and the connections 5a and 5b are soaked in liquid helium 19, and the low-temperature helium gas is discharged through a port 8. Hereby, the temperature rise of the connections 5a and 5b is prevented, and high superconductive stability can be gotten.
