When the dog barks, the sound is picked up by the microphone and converted in the electronic box (2) to an electrical signal which activates the magnet valve (3), causing water to be emitted to the diffuser (4). At the same time, a buzzer is activated, which emits a signal lasting as long as the water is sprayed, i.e. three seconds, or as long as the dog barks. The water diffuser is suspended approximately 2 m above where the dog is located and sprays over an area of 15-25 m2 at normal water pressure (5 bar). Adjustment of the electronic sound sensitivity occurs by means of a potentiometer and by varying the distance of the electronic box from the dog. The frequency of the dog bark is between 400 and 10000 Hz. and the microphone, which is located in the lid of the electronic box, is brought so close to and in the direction of the dog that the required result is obtained. |
