The circuit reuces the power consumption of cellular phone according to the environment brightness. The circuit includes a light detector(7) which outputs analog signal proportional to the environment brightness, an A/D converter(6) which converts analog signal from light detector(7) into digital signal, a microprocessor(1) whoch outputs light information, a key pad(2) and a display unit(5), and a reverse light control unit(4) which generates reverse light. The method includes the 1st step which processes the input data, the 2nd step which compares the basic light with the environment light, the 3rd step which adjusts the light brightness of the display unit and the key pad. |
