The present invention relates to a system which makes the selection of the cuff - by manual or remote control - to be inflated by a volumetric monitor of arterial tension and heart rate, allowing the rapid and sequential monitoring of four users, each with his own cuff. To inflate one of the cuffs B1, B2, B3, B4 the system automatically shuts off all the others, and lights the lamp corresponding to the cuff inflated; for this it is only necessary to press the relevant switches 1, 2, 3 and 4 on the panel or remote control. To deflate any of the cuffs it is only necessary to press the switch 15 on the remote control. <IMAGE>
