Roller skate with two spherical segments forming wheels

The roller skate has a support plate (1) and wheels (4) which are each formed of two identical spherical segments (5) whose convex part, forming the rolling surface, is smooth. The segments are mounted on inclined central axles (6) so that they are joined at their lower parts. The inner sides of the segments are chamfered (27) to form a crown of contact. The axles of each segment part are mounted on a metallic U-shaped piece (12) which is fixed under the support plate. A supple absorbent plate is put between this piece and the plate.
