<p>An orthopaedic redressment splint comprises a thigh shaft (1), a calf shaft (2) with a formed-on shell for the calcaneal part of the foot (21) and a forefoot part (3). The thigh shaft (1) and calf shaft (2) are pivotably connected to one another by knee splints (9). The forefoot part (3) is coupled to the shell for the calcaneal part of the foot (21) in a manner such that it can be tilted about the longitudinal axis of the foot sole and pivoted into the plane of the foot sole. In order to transmit the active stretching of the thigh to the forefoot part (3) a Bowden cable (11) is provided, the sheath (12) of which is fixed to the calf shaft (2). The two ends (4) of the Bowden cable wire (11) are each fixed to the thigh shaft (1) and to the forefoot part (3) with a pad head screw. The lower side of the shell for the calcaneal part of the foot (21) and the forefoot part (3) are covered with a protective cap (8) for protection against injury and damage. <IMAGE></p> |
