The device is a flat rod (1) shaped to fit in the key hole which has a circular head (3) at the end which covers the key hole and at least part of the head of the rotor (2). The rod has teeth (4) which are arranged so that each one fits behind a leaf in the rotor in its unlocked position. One side of each tooth is turned towards the head and is at right angles to the flat rod. In front of each tooth there is a section (6) which is designed to displace the corresponding leaf by making it protrude into the lengthwise groove (7) in the stator.
