Conversion of different amplitude DC and AC voltages

The conversion system has input (UE,iE) and output (UA,iA) that can either of an ac or dc form. The converter is formed with 4 stages; an input circuit (EK), an intermediate circuit (ZK), output circuit (AK) and the control and regulation unit (SR). The input stage has an inductance (LE) and a number of electronic switches coupled in groups (Bl-Bn) to provide a conversion function. Transformers (TRl-TRn) provide outputs to the resonator circuit (Cp,Lp) of the intermediate stage. The output circuit is in the form of a bridge circuit of electronic switches (SAl-SAf).
