The conveyor track (14) consists of slightly sloping, spaced apart, parallel single rails (14/1,14/2) on which the workpiece holders (13), each with two wheels (22), are placed and run by the force of gravity. Beneath the conveyor track is a return track (15) also consisting of spaced apart, parallel single rails (15/1,15/2) slightly sloping in the return direction (27) and on which the workpiece holders (13) run through force of gravity, suspended on extra return wheels (25). The single rails of both tracks (14,15) are joined at the ends by curved tracks (16,17) to form continuous rails.
