The intermediate station (6) has an additional reversing pulley (9,10) for each belt section (3,5). This at least partially neutralises the reversing of the transported goods (1), caused by the coupled reversing pulleys (7,8). A reversing pulley for the load-bearing belt section (3) is coupled via a transmission (11-13) to a reversing pulley for the returning belt section, to generate the same belt speed. The additional reversing pulleys in each station are coupled to each other. The transmission has two angular gears (11,12) coupled to a shaft (13), or a chain drive.
