The present invention relates to a novel method for treating a mammal suffering from gastrointestinal motility disorders comprising administering to said subject an effective amount of a compound of formula (I) wherein X is oxygen or sulphur; and G is selected from one of azabicyclic rings (a) or (b) wherein the thiadiazole or oxadiazole ring can be attached at any carbon atom of the azabicyclic ring; R1 and R2 may be present at any position, including the point of attachment of the thiadiazole or oxadiazole ring.
