Constructional system for vehicle bodywork

The vehicle bodywork has two hollow longitudinal bearers (11) along the bottom forming the door channel bar inside the door cutout. These bearers have a cross-section with the height considerably less than the width at least in the entry zone (21) of the door cutouts (12), and are reinforced by vertical web elements (17). The vertical web elements are against the top and bottom profile walls. At least in the entry zone, the width of the bearers may be a multiple of the height, e.g. four times the height. The web elements may be along the longitudinal bearer axis, spaced out from each other.
