<p>Apparatus (2) for casting bait for fish, which apparatus comprises an elongate body portion (22), receptacle means (24) which is for receiving the bait and which is slidably mounted on the body portion (22), and resilient means (26) for causing the receptacle means (24) to slide along the body portion (22) in a forwards direction and at such a rate that during use of the apparatus (2) the bait is projected out of the receptacle means (24) and towards a desired location.</p> |
