Composite closed profile strip

A profiled strip (1), as a spacer insert for edge sealing of the hollow space (2) of insulating glazing or the like, consists of a C-shaped or U-shaped profile (4) of non-hygroscopic material (e.g. metal) fitted, at its side facing the space (2), with a plastic part (5) to complete a closed profile. Also claimed is a frame made from a profiled strip, esp. as described above.
