Monoblock house with hip roof etc.

The hip roof (2) is constructed with roof rafters, but without ridge beams. The monoblock house (1) base is pref. octagonal. The roof is of penthouse type, with the rafters abutting the house walls one end, and converging to the roof tip at the other end. From the pointed roof ridge extends a vertically downwards directed beam, whose lower end is engaged by inclined beams, directed obliquely upwards against the roof rafters to end there. Pref. the monoblock house is set on a foundation, or on a lower floor erected in a massive structured process.
