<p>A thermostable varicella zoster virus (tVZV) is useful for the preparation of a vaccine against chickenpox. The tVZV was selected from a population of virus which survived stringent heat inactivation conditions. The surviving virus is used to provide seed virus to produce a new vaccine with enhanced stability.</p> |
