<p>This is a socket including an elongate casing (11) which, equipped with connection terminals (12) at both its ends, contains the set of conducting elements, and, in particular, bus conductors (busbars) which extend without any discontinuity between the connection terminals (12), with, staggered along the casing (11), at least two engagement stations (14) each suitable for plugging in a plug. According to the invention, the casing (11) being formed in two parts (11A, 11B), one being an upper part which contains all the contact members of the engagement stations (14) and the other being the lower part which forms the bottom, the engagement stations (14) each include an embellishment (20) which, forming a piece separate from the casing (11), is attached to the upper part (11A) of the latter, having drillholes (21, 21') which are necessary for performing an intervention operation on their contact members.
