Fuel injection control system

In a system for controlling the supply of fuel to a natural gas powered vehicle engine, the duration of injection pulses determined in a PID controller 160 responsive to the output of an EGO sensor 115 is corrected in accordance with the measured fuel pressure 111 and injector temperature 112. The system may take account of variations in the injector response times resulting from the measured battery voltage level 114. The aim is to allow a conventional liquid fuel engine to be adapted to operate using gaseous fuel.
