PURPOSE:To provide a golf club shaft of which hardness changes by degree of force of a golfer in swinging to be hard when swung strongly, and soft when swung with restricted force. CONSTITUTION:An almost tubular hollow member 2 is fixed concentrically to a golf club shaft 1 on an inner surface of a grip part of the shaft 1 in such a way that an outer circumferential drum part of the hollow member 2 on the back side gets in contact with an inner wall surface of the grip part in the golf club shaft 1 on the back side, and that an outer circumferential drum part on the front side is not in contact with an inner wall surface of the golf club shaft 1. The outer circumferential drum part of the hollow member 2 on the front side is sharply taperd, or formed in an arc shape to be thinner on the forward end side, so that the outer circumferential drum part of the hollow member 2 on the front side is not in contact with the inner wall surface of the golf club shaft 1. |
