PURPOSE:To obtain a processed food capable of filling an ingredient without losing the characteristic taste and flavor by forming a pasty raw material and solidifying this and provide a method for producing the processed food. CONSTITUTION:Fish ground meal, ground meal of livestock meal, paste of devil's tongue or cheese is formed into a shape having an internal cavity 13, with the use of a forming method such as (1) forming a cylinder shape followed by sealing the both ends by squashing them in rectangular directions with each other, (2) forming a lump followed by blowing air into it or (3) extruding under intermittently blowing air into an extruded body followed by cutting the extruded material at the position where air is not blew in. The formed material is gelatinized by heating, e.g. immersing into a hot water, boiling in water, frying in oil or baking or solidified by cooling, to obtain a processed food 11 having a cavity 13 of >=10mm in the maximum diameter. |
