<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the paper with fine chips emitting fluorescent color when irradiated with UV rays exist on the surface of a substrate paper. CONSTITUTION:This paper for forgery prevention is so designed that fine chips emitting fluorescent color when irradiated with UV rays are unevenly distributed either throughout the surface of a substrate paper or on said surface in a striated fashion. In this case, the fine chips are ensured to present adhesiveness to the substrate paper during papermaking process; for example, a base paper is coated with a coating comprising a fluorescent pigment and polyvinyl alcohol and then cut into fine chips, which are sprinkled on a wet paper during papermaking process.</p> |
