COMPOSITE RESIN PARTICLE, ITS PRODUCTION, AND ITS USE

PURPOSE:To obtain a composite resin particle of excellent properties in a good yield while preventing the formation of fine particles as a by-product caused by emulsion polymerization concurring with the suspension polymerization of a (meth)acrylic monomer. CONSTITUTION:An oil phase comprising a polymerizable monomer based on a (meth)acrylic monomer and a resin is subjected to aqueous suspension polymerization in the presence of a compound which is substantially insoluble in water and hardly soluble in the polymerizable monomer and has at least one structural unit selected from the group consisting of-SH,-S-S-,-COOH,-NO2 and-OH.
