PURPOSE:To make a sealing portion airtight and trouble-free, preventing peeling, and to stabilize ink discharge by using a sealing material made from a special silicone-modified epoxy resin in the bonded portions of members forming an ink supply channel. CONSTITUTION:An ink jet head has a sealing material 110' formed by a silicone- modified epoxy resin constituent. The silicone-modified epoxy resin comprises a 100 pts.wt. epoxy resin as a raw material epoxy resin and a 10 to 60 pts.wt. silicone (i.e., a 100 pts.wt. epoxy resin as a starting material is added to a 10 to 60 pts.wt. silicone). The ink jet head is designed to give electric energy by an electricity-to-heat converter to generate heat, cause a state change in ink and discharge ink. |
