PURPOSE:To provide a method for producing a bait which is screened from the open air, and retards change of body color and deterioration of freshness by adhering a saccharide solution to the surface of a bait such as shrimps or krills to form a frozen layer, shows a more perishable color and has a high commercial value from a crystal color of the saccharide solution in the frozen layer and to obtain the bait. CONSTITUTION:Shrimps or krills K in a fresh state of frozen solid shape are thawed once, immersed in an antiseptic and subjected to antiseptic treatment. A saccharide solution 14 is adhered to the surface of the shrimps or krills in a state of exhibited in a given container by recycling air cooled to a freezing temperature so as to form a frozen layer and rapidly refrozen to instantly form a frozen layer on the surface of the exhibited bait. |
