PURPOSE:To obtain the package cushion of a natural material which can protect an electronic device easily affected by shock from the shock during transit. CONSTITUTION:The collapsible cushioning elements 12 with hollow projecting parts 17 consisting of pulp molding are interposed between each one of corrugated cardboards 16, 14 and 15 and a respective one of corrugated cardboards 3, 6 and 7 each of which has corrugated cardboards laminated on at least one side. The collapsible cushioning element 12 is formed of paper pulp or other natural material, whereby the hollow projecting parts 17 thereof are collapsed when subjected to shocks to absorb the impact force, and the hollow projecting parts 17 are projected perpendicularly to the surfaces of the opposed cardboards 16, 3 and 14, 6 and 15, 7 and the laminated corrugated cardboards 3, 6 and 7 are preferably so arranged as to make contact with the projecting parts 17. When the cushioning material is set at the corner part of an object 1 to be packaged, the collapsible cushioning element 12 is disposed at the corner where the side surfaces join in such a manner that the hollow projecting parts 17 thereof are directed at right angles to each of the joined surfaces at the corner. |
