PURPOSE:To obtain an ink having improved water resistance of printed recorded material and excellent shelf stability in a high-temperature environment without exerting a bad influence on printing quality of printed recorded material of ordinary paper by using both a compound of a specific formula and a specific amine. CONSTITUTION:This ink comprises (A) a compound of formula I (R<1> is H, nitro or amino; R<2> is carboxyl, sulfonic acid or phosphoric acid) and (B) a primary to tertiary amine in an ink containing a colorant and a liquid medium to dissolve or disperse the colorant. The component B is preferably a compound of formula II [R3 is a 4-48C alkyl or H; R<4> is a (CH2)a-X1 ((a) is 1-4) or H; R5 is a (CH2)b-X2, a R6-Y or H ((b) is 1-4; R6 is a 1-48C alkyl or H); Z is a (NR7ClH21)c (NHCnH2n)d ((1) and (n) are 2-4; c+d is 0-50); R<8> is a (CH2)h-X4 ((h) is 1-4; X1 to X4 are carboxyl, etc.)]. |
