PURPOSE:To provide a thermal recording material not causing the lowering of thermal sensitivity and reduced in the color development of a background even when preserved under high temp. and high humidity conditions. CONSTITUTION:To the thermal color forming layer based on a leuco dye and a coupler allowing the leuco dye to develop a color at the time of heating provided on a support, thiosulfate for preventing the color development of a background is added in an amt. of 0.01-2 pts.wt. with respect to 1 pts.wt. of the leuco dye. |
