PURPOSE:To obtain thermal recording paper having wet strength not bringing about cutting in a coating process of a thermal soln. or the like and not bringing about separation inferiority in a separation treatment process at the time of the regeneration of old paper. CONSTITUTION:In a thermal recording paper is formed by providing a thermal color forming layer based on a leuco dye and a coupler on a support, a value obtained by dividing the measured value of wet tensile strength specified by JIS P-8135 after water dipping for 5min by a value of a wt. basis specified by JIS P-8124 is 13 or more and a value obtained by dividing the measured value of wet tensile strength after water dipping for 60min by the same basis wt. is 10 or less and, as a wet strength enhancer, glyoxal and/or dialdehyde starch are used. |
