PURPOSE:To provide excellent transparency, high longitudinal strength and a small lateral thick spot by sequentially passing a sheetlike product of resin from a low speed roll side, drawing it by high speed rolls, and satisfying relationship between a pressure roll and sheet width, thickness for specific formulae. CONSTITUTION:The method for manufacturing a high strength and high transparency sheetlike product comprises the steps of setting pressure rolls 2, 3 from a temperature lower by 80 deg.C than a melting point of polyolefin resin to the melting point, supplying a sheet 6 made of the resin by a feed roll 1 in close contact with low speed rolls 2 to deform it between the rolls 2 and 3, drawing it in sufficient contact with the roll 3, and winding it on a roll 4. Relationship D between the rolls 2, 3 and a sheet width and relationship P between the rolls and a sheet thickness satisfy formulae I and II. In this case, D, P are respectively represented by formulae III and IV. However, in the formula III, W1 is sheet width (mm) before rolling, and R is a pressure roll speed ratio. In the formula IV, F is a pressure force kg, r is pressure roll radius (mm), t is sheet thickness (mm) before rolling, and s is roll interval (mm). |
