PURPOSE:To easily manufacture a large-sized angle steel without causing surface roughening. CONSTITUTION:The angle steel 10 consisting of two side parts of a side part 102 and the other side part 103 and also having an apex angle part 101 outside a part where both side parts are abutted on each other is manufactured by rolling and forming a rolling stock. This method is composed of an intermediate stage where the rolling stock is made into a low chevron intermediate material 1 having the apex angle part 11 by hot rolling, a tip forming stage where the intermediate material is worked into a preformed member by forming the tip part of the intermediate material 1 into a chevron shape and the final finishing stage where the preformed member is rolled and formed by the use of a two direction rolling/forming roll device 3 consisting of an upper roll 31 and lower roll 32 by one pass method by which the preformed member is worked only a time. |
