PURPOSE: To enhance the reliability of fastening work in a pallet positioning device and simplify the structure by directly fixing a control member to a wedge slide member. CONSTITUTION: A fastening bolt 5 is advanced into the receiving hole 8 of a mount base 7. At that time, a lid is pressed down against the force of a spring 10 by the weight of a pallet 1, and a pin 9 advances into the corresponding longitudinal hole of the fastening bolt 5. The raised inclined surface of a working projection part 4 is situated so that a traveling wheel 18 travels along it. When a pallet support base 3 starts to descend according to the traveling of the traveling wheel 18, an intermediate member 17 starts to move from a release position together with both fastening slide members 12, 13 to place the pallet 1 on the mount base 7, and then moves to the fastening position when a fastening groove 6 on the side surface of the fastening bolt 5 reaches a fixed position. The wedge slide members 12, 13 are effectively connected through a bar 20 and both compression springs 21, 23, whereby both wedges 14 are fitted to the wedge groove (fastening groove) 6 of each fastening bolt 5. |
