PURPOSE:To prevent an engine idle adjusting device from misadjusting idle speed by causing the device to recognize the warmed-up state of the engine from cooling water temperature and to easily report whether or not the engine has been warmed up. CONSTITUTION:An idle adjusting device is provided with a water temperature sensor 36 for detecting the temperature of cooling water of an engine 2, so as to recognize the warmed-up state of the engine from the cooling water temperature detected by the water temperature sensor 36, and a control means 38 which, when the cooling water temperature is less than a set temperature, blocks voltage from a monitor output terminal 48 and which causes voltage other than that for the warmed-up state to be output from the monitor output terminal 48 when a test terminal 42 for adjusting idle is short-circuited. |
